A night of glamour, performance and excitement, celebrating an incredible year of music. We were all VERY excited for the 2025 Grammy Awards and they certainly did not disappoint. Many of us sat for hours eagerly hoping to catch a glimpse of Chappell on the red carpet and in the audience, excitedly awaiting her live performance. Her red-carpet look gave feather couture with a 2003 Gautier dress and headpiece, styled her long time collaborator Genesis Webb. Another outfit change for her time in the audience consisted of powder blue bodice and pleats, followed by further outfit changes for her live performance and finally the remainder of the show. Chappell Roan has this year won the BBC Sound of 2025!! She has come ahead of the competition to be awarded the title by an expert panel of 180 music industry insiders, and now has been labelled as the BBC's most exciting artist to watch in the next 12 months. Other artists in the shortlist included Ezra Collective , Barry Can't Swim , Myles Smith , and English Teacher . The longlist included Confidence Man , Doechii , Good Neighbours , KNEECAP , Mk.gee , and Pozer . Chappell was presented the award by BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders who hosts the channel's New Music Show, and interviewed about her career so far as well as what she is hoping for in the next 12 months.
